What does deploy mean?
"Deploy" means that your active duty family member is temporarily leaving his or her home duty station to support military efforts around the world.

You are not alone!

Who can I turn to?
WRNMMC Ombudsman is your main liaison with WRNMMC during deployment and your primary contact for your most needed resources. Contact the WRNMMC Family Ombudsman.

Suppose I need money?
The WRNMMC Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCR) offers a variety of services, including financial assistance or referral to other relief agencies.

Will I need the American Red Cross (AMC)?
The Red Cross emergency communications services will contact your sailor in the event of a serious illness, death, birth, or other emergency.

Will my healthcare needs be met?
TRICARE is your access to medical care if you are designated as a beneficiary through your active duty member.
Are you moving out of the area; or do you have questions? Call TRICARE - (877) 874-2273.

I need help with legal affairs.
Navy Legal Assistance provides legal counseling, notaries, wills, and other services especially to ready families for deployment.
WRNMMC has a branch Legal Assistance office.
The Naval Legal Service Office for North Central region is located at the Washington Navy Yard in DC.

What other business should I take care of?
The WRNMMC Personnel Support Activity Detachment (PSD) assists active duty and their dependents with administrative matters.
Talk to your sailor. You should understand the importance of:
